A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT INCLUDE:Â
- Planning, directing, and coordinating civil/structural engineering design activities for the construction of electric transmission line facilities for one of our clients. Â
- Performing a civil/structural engineering analysis for one of our transmission facilities Â
- Coordinating a project schedule and budgetÂ
- Supporting the development of a contracts, technical specification, or drawing bid package for a new clientÂ
- Meeting with a client to maintain build and grow the relationshipÂ
- Providing technical assistance and training for one of our entry level engineersÂ
- Interacting with staff, the general public, or officials and contractorsÂ
- Preparing a reports or working on a special projectÂ

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. Accredited SchoolÂ
- 4+ years of experience in utility work preferredÂ
- Experience in distribution design is a plus!Â
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD requiredÂ
- Excellent oral and written communication skills Â
- PE License is requiredÂ
- High ethical and professional standardsÂ

- The job does require the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation, as well as attend occasional client meetings and site visits.Â
