Project Coordinator - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for providing diverse and confidential administrative support while also contributing to project management activities. The ideal candidate will support management with administrative tasks, participate in the development and implementation of business solutions, manage project risk, and report on project status to ensure continuous and efficient project management.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate an understanding of customer’s tactical goals and effectively participate in the development and implementation of business solutions
• Manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques
• Actively manage the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan
• Develop documentation; monitor and report project status; assess the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation
• Initiate and maintain reporting relationships with project stakeholders to coordinate efforts across multiple business units
• Analyze and report project status and research information; monitor project performance to maintain the quality of services and deliverables
• Collaborate and communicate with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals, or implementation
• Assist in the development of project budgets in compliance with the company’s financial practices

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in project management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Desired skills:

• PMP certification
• Experience with administrative services, event planning, and office administration
• Strong skills in prioritization, adaptability, and attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving, oral, and written communication skills

Pay range:$29.00 - $37.00 per hour
