JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator - 60 hours/week

DURATION: 3-6+ Month Contract to Hire
RATE RANGE: $35-45/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator is the office to field glue for the technical construction team. This person keeps reports and trackers current, coordinates work with field superintendents, and handles the computer work supers do not have time to do. The job sits in the office and on the floor. It is not a desk only role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, update, and send reports and trackers (progress, Client, BOQ, equipment, scopes, punch/gating status) so the TPM and supers have a current picture of the work.
- Coordinate day to day field activity with Technical Superintendents: Super Sync, lookaheads, contractor follow up, coverage, and close out of field requests.
- Support field supers on computer work: Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Warp, CxAlloy, photos, labels, POs, and anything else they need to keep production moving.
- Track vendor/PO status, billing, and close out. Chase suppliers until remaining funds and invoices are reconciled.
- Collect and organize field information (daily pictures, equipment status, scope lists, issue logs) and turn it into something the team can use.
- Coordinate materials, labels, equipment dispatch, training, and contractor communications as directed by the TPM or supers.
- Keep files, shared trackers, and meeting notes current so the team is not hunting for information.
- Be available on site. When a super needs help, jump in.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong on a computer: Excel (trackers, filters, lookups), Outlook/Teams, SharePoint. Willing to learn our systems).
- Comfortable working with field superintendents: clear communication, no ego, follows through.
- Organized. Can run multiple reports and requests at once without dropping them.
- Willing to walk the field, take notes, and support supers on the floor, not only from a desk.
- Construction or industrial project experience preferred ( utilities / electrical construction a plus).
