Engineering & Construction (E&C) Project Controls team is seeking a contract accounting professional to develop and implement processes for tracking inventory and storage costs while supporting core accounting and project controls activities. This role will help ensure project-related financial transactions are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes for tracking inventory and storage costs.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
- Complete monthly accruals and account reconciliations.
- Track and monitor invoices to support timely processing and payment.
- Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and document accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is preferred.
- Strong accounting background with experience supporting project-related financial activities.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail Orientated.
- Highly skilled in Excel.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- SAP experience is required.
- SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) experience is preferred.
- Power BI experience is preferred.
