The Project Analyst III will support federal strategic communications and marketing initiatives by developing digital and print materials, coordinating organizational communications, and managing documentation and deliverables. This role will assist with newsletters, workforce engagement campaigns, communications processes, and project tracking while ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal records management requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong writing, design, and organizational skills, along with experience using Adobe Creative Cloud tools, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.

Responsibilities:Â
- Support the federal workforce’s daily communications and digital marketing initiatives by designing, formatting, editing, and distributing strategic communications materials, coordinating content collection with relevant points of contact, and developing visual content and branding elements for website updates, email campaigns, digital posters, brochures, flyers, newsletters, broadcast messages, leadership blogs, presentations, and other materials supporting Security Capabilities (SC) initiatives.
- Assist the Federal Lead Communication Specialist with facilitating approval of strategic communications and marketing initiatives with the appropriate parties (e.g., SC Leadership, Strategic Communications & Public Affairs, etc.).
- Provide support for the SC Monthly Newsletter (digital distribution until further notice), SC Yearbook (annually), SC Employee Advisory Council marketing/promotion (as needed on regular basis), and any additional brochures, posters, flyers, campaigns, and workforce engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate and track deliverables for internal and external requests from key stakeholders, including the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), TSA Front Office, TSA Executive Secretariat, Enterprise Support, SC Front Office, other TSA offices, and security technology industry representatives. Support deliverables may include congressional responses, reports to Congress, congressional hearing requests, internal and external correspondence, direct replies, action and information memoranda, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
- Assist federal staff in coordinating and tracking the SC program documentation deliverables throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery from initial creation to final archiving in accordance with TSA policies, management directives, and records management policies.
- Support the Lead Communication Specialist with managing and maintaining a centralized repository of final versions of organizational files located on SharePoint/shared folders, including official final copies of SC program documentation provided by SC Front Offices and/or Divisions for archival purposes.
- Assist with creation and documentation of SC Communications processes, which include, but are not limited to, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Style & Process Guides, Quick Reference Guides developed for SC workforce, Digital Word and/or PowerPoint Templates for documentation and presentations, Comms POC list, etc.
- Collaborate with Federal lead and SC Leadership to develop SC Comms project plans for deliverables and independently manage marketing dashboards that document progression and status.
- Maintain the Communications Toolkit on SharePoint based on Federal lead guidance.
- Provide graphic assistance and general direction for SC’s Culture Transformation initiative per Leadership and other contract support team’s guidance and best practice.
- Monitor and work out of shared mailbox and maintain appropriate categorization of messages to develop record of metrics provided to Federal Lead monthly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience of supporting marketing initiatives by designing, creating, delivering, and managing digital and print marketing materials and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including understanding of and ability to adapt/develop writing and or visual “tone/voice”
- Highly detail focused and exercise creative patience
- Excellent organization skills, including version control of digital documents
- Able to work independently
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of tools, with specific expertise in Photoshop and InDesign

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
