- Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential conversion to Merit)
- Pay Rate: $52.00β$53.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary
This role supports theAlabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) Vital Statistics System through hands-on RPG programming and legacy enterprise application maintenance on the IBM AS400 platform. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of verifiable RPG programming experience, a strong production support and troubleshooting background, and is eligible for Alabama State Merit System employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the ADPH Vital Statistics System
- Develop and modify RPG applications
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Perform testing and validation
- Document changes and procedures
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
- Support enterprise metrics initiatives
