Programmer

Job Title: PROGRAMMER

Department: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Reports to: IT MANAGER

Multiple Locations in Caribbean : Bahamas - Nassau, Freeport, Exuma, Abaco. George Town Cayman Island, Turks & Caicos Islands

Job Summary: Execute IT projects and provide stakeholders with extracts/reports using Oracle DBMS, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, MS SQL, MS Access or other related technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Automate standard reports for the Company.

2. Prepare customized reports from iGAS for all departments.

3. Perform data migration as needed to facilitate software changes / upgrades.

4. Update the iGAS system based on changes / upgrades made by the developers.

5. Develop / Maintain data warehouse using software / tools that interface with iGAS.

6. Conduct periodic checks with all departments to determine if the iGAS interface adequately meets department needs.

7. Update and maintain the Company's website (if maintained internally).

8. Perform all Programming/Software related duties as requested and assigned.

9. Adhere to and enforce compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.

10. Any other duties as assigned.

Job Description – PROGRAMMER

Required Work Experience

A minimum of five (5) years experience required in Programming or other related field

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Proficiency in MS and Oracle software systems

Excellent written and oral communication

3. Proficient in compiling statistical data and audit reports.

4. Proficient in Microsoft and Oracle Software Systems

5. Demonstrate speed, accuracy and proficiency in executing duties

8. Regular and punctual attendance at work.

Performance Criteria

1. Submit extracts and reports on a timely basis.

2. Develop data warehouse for reports from iGAS

3. Manage the company's website

4. Make recommendations as necessary.
