Program Manager, Finance & Business Systems
Location: Kaiser Permanente Regional Office - 3495 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305 (potential for hybrid)
The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia’s largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. More than 700 physicians and 300 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high-quality care to Kaiser Permanente members. We are seeking aProgram Manager, Finance & Business Systems to drive the execution of high-priority strategic and operational initiatives that advance organizational performance, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. Working closely with TSPMG leadership and AMD Business Systems & Strategy, this role serves as a key integrator across teams, ensuring strategic initiatives are effectively planned, efficiently executed, proactively managed, and achieve desired outcomes.
The Program Manager will lead and support complex, cross-functional programs from inception through implementation, facilitating alignment among stakeholders, driving accountability for deliverables, managing risks and dependencies, and supporting executive decision-making. Key areas of focus include Affordability & Sustainability, Top Scope priorities, Resource Stewardship, and other strategic initiatives as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of strategic and operational initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to develop and maintain integrated workplans that align activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Drive accountability by tracking action items and deliverables through successful execution of initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment, resolve barriers, manage dependencies, and accelerate decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and status reports for leadership.
- Facilitate program workstream meetings, steering committees, and working sessions.
- Synthesize complex information into concise recommendations that support informed leadership decisions.
- Ensure leadership visibility into program progress, risks, resource needs, and key accomplishments.
- Support initiatives focused on affordability, sustainability, resource optimization, and operational performance.
- Apply program management disciplines, governance processes, change management practices, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure successful implementation and sustained results.
- Assist with the identification, tracking, and realization of business outcomes associated with strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in program management, project management, strategy execution, business operations, healthcare administration, consulting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience creating executive presentations, business analyses, status reporting, and governance materials.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and change management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting finance, business systems, operational transformation, or enterprise strategic initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, healthcare finance and revenue cycle, or integrated delivery systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or comparable certification.
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams and governance structures.
