Summary:
The Global Legal Operations and Strategy (GLOS) team is seeking a contingent Legal Project Manager to provide temporary coverage for approved leave. The role supports high-priority X-Legal programs and initiatives, including legal matter budget tracking and reporting, documentation and file structure governance, and recurring status reporting to Legal leadership. The successful contractor will partner with internal Legal teams, Outside Counsel (OC), and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain program continuity, manage and analyze data, keep documentation current, and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met without disruption during the coverage period.
Responsibilities
- Support high-priority X-Legal programs and initiatives, including legal matter budget tracking and reporting.
- Ensure documentation and file structure governance.
- Provide recurring status reporting to Legal leadership.
- Partner with internal Legal teams, Outside Counsel, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain program continuity, manage and analyze data, and keep documentation current.
- Ensure deadlines and deliverables are met without disruption during the coverage period.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of project or program management experience, with at least 2 years supporting a legal function (in-house legal department or law firm).
- Demonstrated ownership of budget tracking and reporting — actuals versus budget, bottoms-up estimates, variance reporting.
- Experience building and maintaining program documentation, trackers, and workback plans for multiple concurrent workstreams, including direct stakeholder coordination.
Skills
- Familiarity with litigation and complex litigation structures.
- Experience coordinating with Outside Counsel and familiarity with fee arrangements.
- Comfort with AI-enabled productivity tooling and document/workflow automation.
Pay Transparency:The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $90.00 - $92.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
