Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager with a strong foundation in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to lead and manage complex programs that drive operational excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, enabling them to effectively bridge the gap between development and operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programs, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and product management, to define program objectives and deliverables.
- Utilize SRE methodologies to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability across all programs.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate regular program meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Implement best practices in project management and SRE to drive continuous improvement in program delivery.
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
- Act as a mentor and resource for team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of monitoring and incident management tools.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) and SRE are a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs in a technology-driven environment.
