Role and Responsibilities:
Project Liberty Institute is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Program Associate to support our Policy, Governance Innovation & Impact and Policy and Research functions. This role will span multiple external partnerships and will report to the Head of Research & Insights. The successful candidate will focus on program coordination, scheduling, and event logistics, enabling the team to concentrate on strategic initiatives and relationship building.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and globally oriented environment. It is an opportunity to work on a broad range of issues, ranging from responsible investment, global tech policy, impact entrepreneurship, and technical protocol governance to multistakeholder collaboration. Preference will be given to candidates based in Paris, France, or in locations operating in the Central European Time (CET) zone to ensure maximum alignment with the Director’s and Manager’s needs.
Programmatic Support and Administrative Support
Support the development, execution, and monitoring of program activities, including liaison and reporting.
Track and document progress of program deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Coordinate and manage logistics for program-related events and meetings, including with ecosystem partners, and other recurring engagements.
Assist with preparing agendas, reports, communications materials and other program-related materials.
Maintain strong internal and external communication across global partners.
Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to the Director of Policy,Governance Innovation & Impact and the Policy and Research Manager’s portfolios.
Provide proactive and timely administrative support to the Director and Manager, including calendar management and meeting coordination.
Core Competencies and Qualifications
Passion for PLI’s mission and enthusiasm for working with diverse stakeholders & its academic and partner network.
3+ years of experience in administrative and programmatic support, ideally in policy, innovation, higher education, philanthropy, or technology sectors.
Excellent English language skills, with proven ability to produce professional written communications that are clear, compelling, and structured for a variety of mediums
Experience managing cross-functional projects and supporting multiple stakeholders with a bias for action and a natural instinct for anticipating team needs before they arise.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate a dynamic and distributed work environment.
Strong technical proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
Collaborative and self-directed, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
