POSITION SUMMARY

Ensures productionismet to satisfy contractual commitmentsandmaximizes profits by overseeing production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees plant production by observing activity and setting standards to ensure productionand quality needs aremet.
• Conducts meetings and discussionspertaining tocontinuous improvementin responsible areas.
• Develop and maintain an environmentthat promotes productivityand throughput to include conflictresolution.
• Creates and maintains budgets,approves expenditures,and manages operations keepingwithin budgets.
• Direct Production Supervisorsand TeamReps to foster employee involvement process.
• Assure that the production schedules aremet as determined by the master schedule.
• Assure that all units manufactured meetor exceed quality standards.
• Assistin the development and coordination of new methods and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Six plus years ofrelated workexperience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degreein Business,Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Knowledge and experiencewith production scheduling
• Ability to implementand drive lean manufacturingand continuous improvement processes
• Heavy equipmentor automotive manufacturing experienceat the managementlevel
