Production Line Leader / EOIII

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to support operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supervising approximately 25 production employees, maintaining production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of approximately 25 production employees.

• Assign work responsibilities and ensure production goals and schedules are met.

• Monitor production line operations, equipment performance, and product quality.

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety procedures, and workplace safety standards.

• Assist with equipment startup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and shutdown procedures.

• Monitor production output, downtime, waste, and operational efficiency.

• Train and coach production employees on operating procedures and safety requirements.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams.

• Complete production reports and maintain accurate documentation.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased productivity.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment.

• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising production employees.

• Ability to oversee approximately 25 production associates.

• Knowledge of GMP and food safety requirements.

• Experience with manufacturing equipment and production processes.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food processing or packaging experience.

• Production equipment troubleshooting experience.

• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.

• Experience tracking production metrics and employee performance.
