Production Planner – Adana, Turkey
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for aProduction Planner to join our team inAdana, Turkey.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring effective production planning, stock availability and coordination across the supply chain. Acting as a central point of contact between Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Product Management and Operations, you will help ensure that production plans are aligned with customer demand and operational requirements.
You will also work closely with Transport Planning and Warehouse Operations to support efficient dispatch planning and ensure the smooth flow of products from production through to delivery.
Your Responsibilities
Develop, issue and monitorweekly production plans, ensuring alignment with customer demand, stock requirements and operational capacity.
Act as a key liaison betweenCentral Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Product Management and Operations.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriatestock availability against confirmed and potential customer orders.
Identify potential stock shortages, production constraints or planning risks and work with relevant teams to address them proactively.
Work closely with theTransport Planner and Warehouse Operations Specialist to develop and coordinate weekly dispatch plans.
Monitor adherence to production plans and follow up on deviations or changes as required.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to support planning and operational decision-making.
Maintain accurate planning information and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes.
Provide back-up support for theTransport Planner when required.
Build strong working relationships across functions to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the planning process.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, demand planning, or a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Fluentwritten and spoken English.
Strong proficiency inMicrosoft Office, particularlyExcel.
Experience withSAP is considered an advantage.
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Methodical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, curious and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to changing production and customer requirements.
