Product Owner

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Delivery Test Manager for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for enterprise-wide test rigor and traceability, requiring a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The Delivery Test Manager will review and approve end-to-end testing readiness and outcomes, verifying that Epics, Features, and User Stories are fully traceable to test scenarios and results. This position partners closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Risk, and Release Management to enable high-confidence releases and reduce production risk.

Responsibilities:

• Validate end-to-end traceability from Epics/Stories to test documentation, including positive/negative paths, NFRs (performance, security, accessibility), and data validation
• Ensure test plans, test cases, test data, and evidence are complete, reviewable, and audit-ready
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Scenario and Rule oriented acceptance criteria for Stories and Epics
• Identify quality risks and gaps; require mitigations before approval (e.g., test debt, data gaps, environment instability)
• Maintain and evolve enterprise test policies, templates, and definitions of Done/Ready
• Champion best practices across automation, performance, and shift-left quality
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Dev, Architecture, and Release to resolve quality blockers

Requirements:

• 10+ years in QA leadership, Test Management, Quality Engineering, or SDLC governance
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and SAFe delivery
• Hands-on experience validating test strategies, test cases, test evidence, and readiness packages
• Expertise in Epic and User Story writing standards, including ability to assess rule-based and action-based stories
• Ability to verify full traceability across requirements, tests, defects, and release artifacts
• Strong documentation discipline and ability to create audit-ready evidence
• Experience with tools such as: JIRA, Confluence, OCTANE, and Reporting
• Experience with functional testing - Web, API, ETL
• Knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, and ETL/Database testing
• Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and communication skills
• Ability to influence teams to meet enterprise quality standards and approval gates

Desired skills:

• Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services, Banking, Insurance)
• Background in performance testing, security testing, or accessibility compliance (WCAG)
• Understanding of automation frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber
• Exposure to API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Swagger based validation)
• Experience defining or improving enterprise quality frameworks, templates, and processes
