Location: Whippany, NJ (2 days onsite)
Duration: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and goals
- Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization and refinement
- Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, customers, and Scrum teams
- Act as the primary point of contact between business and development teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Review, Refinement)
- Ensure timely delivery of product features with maximum business value
- Track product performance and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
- Make decisions on scope, priorities, and trade-offs
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with backlog management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO)
- Experience with data-driven decision making
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in Agile at scale (SAFe, LeSS)
