- Define, prioritize, and manage the Study Hub product backlog to align with business goals and customer needs.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories focused on platform and client requirements.
- Collaborate with development, design, QA, and other PSCS product teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies including Program Increment planning, daily Scrum meetings, Product Business Demos, Product Owner Syncs and Retrospectives.
- Serve as a point of contact for product functionality and requirement clarification.
- Communicate progress and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and approve completed work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Support product releases.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years proven experience as a Product Owner.
- Experience with Salesforce platforms.
- Strong understanding of SAFe and/or Agile methodologies and practices.
- Proficiency with requirements management tools such as Jira and Lucidcharts.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and backlog management skills.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable development tasks.
- Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this role:
- Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication and business writing skills.
- Strong relationship building and facilitation skills to work directly with business users who are not technical in nature.
- Strong oral and written communicator with an ability to apply critical thinking.
- Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Own a high-impact, internal product that supports both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the ability to self-manage workload and perform responsibilities independently based on well-defined projects and scope.
- Maintain product vision and roadmap and support growth opportunities.
- Translate product roadmap features into product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria into a requirements management tool, such as Jira.
- Prioritize and translates high level requirements into detailed user stories that the development team can execute against.
- Act as product expert for users, able to bring creative ad-hoc solutions to use cases.
- Monitor and evaluate product progress including outcomes of deliverables, and recommend additional improvements based on internal and customer feedback.
- Assist with process modeling to clarify business requirements, and to enhance or re-engineer business processes, prior to, or in parallel with, solution design and implementation, as necessary.
- Collaborate with developers and other analysts to ensure adherence to business requirements and customer needs.
- Resolve conflicting end-user requirements.
- Working knowledge of platform integrations (MuleSoft, Integration Fabric, APIs).
- Working knowledge of Data flows and managing data requirements.
- Follow IQVIA System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures, as appropriate.
