Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, data-driven Supply Chain Program Manager to support hardware product development and supply chain execution from early-stage development through product launch.
In this role, you will manage product cost tracking, cost modeling, supplier readiness, sourcing coordination, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and supply planning, to ensure products meet cost targets and development milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Cost Management: Develop and maintain product cost models, perform bottom-up costing and should-cost analysis, and track product costs against established financial targets.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Support product development across the full lifecycle, from prototype and concept stages through Alpha, Beta, and General Availability (GA).
  • Supplier Readiness: Track supplier readiness against program milestones, identify potential risks, and coordinate mitigation plans to support successful product launches.
  • Sourcing and Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with sourcing and commodity management teams on RFQ/RFI activities, supplier evaluations, and direct-material cost analysis.
  • Cost Target Management: Monitor cost performance, investigate cost discrepancies, evaluate cost assumptions, and coordinate with relevant teams to identify cost-improvement opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Program Management: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply planning, logistics, and finance teams to align deliverables and ensure timely execution.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to component availability, supplier readiness, and end-of-life (EOL) materials.
  • Tooling and Program Tracking: Support tooling-funding activities, maintain program documentation, track milestones, and prepare regular status reports.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use Excel and other business tools to analyze cost and supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Drive accountability across cross-functional teams, communicate program risks, and proactively resolve issues that could affect cost, quality, or delivery timelines.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, supply chain program management, product operations, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and structured product development or stage-gate processes.
  • Practical knowledge of bottom-up costing, should-cost analysis, cost modeling, and product cost management.
  • Technical background through education or professional experience in hardware, electromechanical products, electronics, mechanical components, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with direct-material sourcing and exposure to RFQ/RFI processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 for cost analysis, data management, reporting, and program tracking.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, including sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, planning, logistics, or quality teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership of supply chain deliverables, cost analysis, supplier readiness, or related operational initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
