Wolverine Worldwide is a Certified™ Great Place To Work®

The Product Manager – DAM & Product Data Integrations is an experienced individual contributor responsible for sustaining and advancing the digital product ecosystem that governs product information and digital assets across Wolverine Worldwide’s brand portfolio during a 12-month maternity cover. The role provides continuity of ownership for Digital Asset Management (DAM) capabilities and the flow of product data from Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) into Product Information Management (PIM), helping ensure trusted, complete and market-ready product content is available to downstream channels.

Working across business, technology, brand and vendor teams, this role translates operational and strategic needs into prioritised product outcomes. It owns the near-term roadmap and backlog, coordinates delivery and issue resolution, strengthens data and asset governance, and supports adoption through clear processes, training and stakeholder communication.
  • Own the roadmap, prioritised backlog and product governance for DAM as well as the integration of the digital assets and product data (from PLM) into PIM, balancing business value, operational risk, dependencies and delivery capacity.
  • Provide continuity of product leadership during the 12-month maternity cover, maintaining delivery cadence, stakeholder relationships, documentation, decision forums and clear handovers.
  • Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and measurable outcomes, partnering across Product, Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce, Creative, Data, Architecture and Engineering.
  • Lead DAM capabilities and governance across metadata, taxonomy, asset lifecycle, permissions, search, publishing workflows, usage standards and integration requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end flow of product data from PLM through integration layers into PIM, including mappings, validation, enrichment dependencies, exception handling, reconciliation and downstream readiness.
  • Drive product data and asset quality improvements by defining ownership, monitoring completeness and accuracy, identifying root causes and coordinating remediation at source.
  • Coordinate internal teams and vendors through planning, release delivery, testing, cutover and hypercare, resolving defects and integration failures within agreed scope and timelines.
  • Maintain effective Agile delivery and operational controls, including sprint ceremonies, backlog hygiene, ticket standards, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies and budget tracking.
  • Monitor product health and adoption, maintain core documentation, deliver stakeholder communications and training, and act as the escalation point for priority DAM issues.
  • Perform duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies, and other duties as required or assigned by the manager.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for enterprise digital platforms, ideally within product information, digital asset management, product lifecycle, retail, footwear, apparel or consumer products.
  • Practical experience with DAM and PIM capabilities, including metadata, taxonomy, asset workflows, product enrichment, syndication and data governance.
  • Experience with platforms such as Bynder and Akeneo is advantageous.
  • Understanding of PLM-to-PIM integrations and product data architecture, including APIs, middleware or data pipelines, field mappings, validation, error handling and system-of-record principles.
  • Experience with platforms such as Centric PLM is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices and demonstrated ability to manage roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies and release planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data and process issues, identify root causes and turn findings into prioritised actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex data and integration topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across global, cross-functional and vendor teams, and to influence outcomes without relying on direct authority.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and comfort managing multiple workstreams, operational issues and deadlines in parallel.
  • Experience supporting change adoption, training, governance and operational handover for enterprise platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills which may be required.
