We're growing our product management function tasked with advancing AI-powered offerings and weaving artificial intelligence throughout every phase of the product journey. As a Senior Product Manager | Applied AI, you'll take charge of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and complete delivery of several products—with at least one being AI-driven—while applying AI consistently to speed up your work, improve decision-making, and guide fellow Product Managers
Responsibilities
- Hold full accountability for the vision, strategic path, roadmap execution, and complete delivery of one or more products, with at least one powered by artificial intelligence
- Specify clear requirements and use cases for AI functionality by approaching them as probabilistic systems, setting data boundaries, use-case alignment, evaluation benchmarks, quality thresholds, safety measures, and human-in-the-loop checks as acceptance criteria
- Spot strategic chances where AI can boost product worth, customer experience, internal operations, and business results while developing and scaling solid business cases for execution
- Apply AI tools effectively and with careful oversight throughout product discovery, research synthesis, data analysis, documentation, user story writing, prototyping, and planning, always confirming outputs before trusting them
- Rank product features, manage product backlogs, and supervise release cycles, using AI-supported analytics to complement rather than substitute human judgment
- Handle the full product lifecycle, factoring in the distinct operational realities of AI features like model and version updates, quality drift, and continuous human monitoring
- Work closely alongside engineering, data, design, and AI/ML teams to turn product intentions into concrete requirements while effectively managing technical limitations in product choices
- Set grounded expectations with clients and stakeholders around AI capabilities and constraints, explaining benefits, risks, and trade-offs using plain, understandable terms
- Guide fellow Product Managers and raise the team's hands-on AI competency by demonstrating practical application daily
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional Product Management experience, having successfully run one or more products from start through post-launch support
- Clear history of bringing multiple products or significant features to market, including direct experience delivering or substantially improving AI-powered products or features such as generative AI, machine learning, recommendation systems, search algorithms, or automation tools
- Strong command of product strategy, vision, roadmapping, market analysis, and product visioning, with demonstrated skill in spotting and justifying valuable AI opportunities
- Broad experience managing backlogs, cross-product dependencies, release cycles, product lifecycles, and continuing customer support structures
- Thorough understanding of product profitability, competitive positioning, pricing approaches, and the key cost, latency, and quality trade-offs that shape AI-feature economics
- Strong subject matter knowledge across 3 or more business domains, positioning you as a credible business-domain expert
- Functional AI literacy covering present-day AI and generative AI/LLM capabilities, dependable limits, common patterns, and typical failure points to support sound product decisions and credible technical conversations without needing model-building skills
- Demonstrated capacity to influence varied stakeholders up through VP level and steer every critical component of complex product launches
- Solid leadership skill to direct a team of Product Owners and Product Managers across a product line through the entire product lifecycle
- Dedication to boosting the team's practical AI skill by sharing proven methods and coaching on requirements and evaluation standards for AI features
- Consistent, daily use of artificial intelligence across research, discovery, analysis, documentation, user stories, prototyping, and planning, combined with careful output checking
- Proven skill in identifying and justifying high-value AI opportunities within products, operational workflows, customer experiences, and business results
- Thorough functional AI literacy covering concepts, terminology, capabilities, and limitations at a product management level
- Demonstrated experience defining precise requirements and use cases for AI features, including evaluation standards, quality thresholds, guardrails, and human oversight
- Strong ability to assess AI outputs for quality, accuracy, risk, limitations, and overall effect on users
- Solid grasp of responsible-AI principles spanning data privacy, algorithmic bias, security, transparency, and human oversight
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively alongside engineering, data, design, and AI/ML development teams
- Strong adaptability and dedication to ongoing learning as AI tools and capabilities continue evolving rapidly
- Fluent English communication abilities at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Advanced hands-on experience prototyping with AI builder tools to achieve near-production quality
- Demonstrated skill building product manager agents and multi-step automations that streamline research, backlog management, analytics, and communications
- Thorough understanding of AI-feature economics, including cost, latency, and unit economics, plus model lifecycle management covering drift, versioning, and vendor transitions
- Awareness of developing AI regulations such as the EU AI Act and relevant industry-specific compliance requirements
- Prior direct experience successfully scaling an AI-powered product into production
