Own and coordinate the APAC product portfolio across the full lifecycle, translating regional market, customer, code, and business needs into competitive product roadmaps, scalable platform solutions, successful launches, and sustainable financial performance.Â
Role Summary
• Be the product management focal point for APAC, connecting country needs with global platform direction and regional growth priorities.
• Drive portfolio competitiveness, lifecycle performance, operational excellence, customer value, and profitable growth across relevant New Equipment, modernization, and service-adjacent product solutions.
• Champion common-platform deployment while enabling justified country, segment, and vertical solutions where local market or code requirements create a clear business need.Â
• Use market intelligence, structured data, and AI-enabled tools to improve opportunity identification, decision quality, and speed of execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
• Define and maintain APAC product strategy and roadmaps aligned with global platforms, regional priorities, and country growth plans.
• Lead portfolio segmentation, feature-package definition, competitive positioning, and simplification across APAC markets.
• Translate customer, market, regulatory, and commercial requirements into prioritized roadmaps and robust business cases.
• Balance regional scale with local differentiation, reducing unnecessary complexity, cost, and time-to-market.
2. Product Development & Lifecycle Delivery
• Act as product owner or regional product lead from concept and qualification through launch, enhancement, and phase-out.
• Partner with engineering, program management, sales, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and field organizations to define requirements, priorities, and trade-offs.
• Support disciplined PDP governance and maintain clear product objectives, ATOR, business cases, readiness criteria, and launch plans.
• Monitor product performance after launch and drive corrective actions, feature evolution, cost improvement, and end-of-life decisions.
3. Market Intelligence & Business InsightÂ
• Establish a consistent APAC view of market size, segment trends, customer needs, competitor moves, code changes, and country opportunities.
• Lead competitive and bid analysis, including product benchmarking, win/loss inputs, award tracking, and structured support for pricing decisions.
• Use LLMs, RAG applications, and automated data pipelines where appropriate to extract, structure, and share actionable intelligence.
• Develop early-warning mechanisms for strategic projects, market shifts, product risks, and emerging requirements.
4. Country, Segment & Vertical SolutionsÂ
• Identify scalable opportunities across APAC countries and priority verticals, and define practical product directions with clear value propositions.
• Own the intake, assessment, prioritization, and governance of regional and country product requests.
• Coordinate code and engineering assessments for local requirements and convert approved needs into reusable solutions wherever possible.
• Lead product benchmarking and ensure regional learning is shared across countries rather than solved repeatedly in isolation.
5. Go-to-Market, Value Proposition & Training
• Develop regional go-to-market frameworks for new products and features, adaptable to country-level execution.
• Create clear product value propositions, sales tools, positioning, and training materials for commercial and operational teams.
• Coordinate launch readiness with country product, sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and service stakeholders.
• Support priority regional and country promotion activities, customer events, and industry exhibitions.
6. Financial & Operational Performance
• Own product-level business and financial analysis, including volume, price, cost, margin, investment, ROI, and lifecycle economics.
• Drive material, labor, contract-engineering, installation, and lifecycle cost improvement with supply chain and operations.
• Track agreed portfolio KPIs and escalate risks, gaps, and corrective actions with fact-based recommendations.
• Ensure product decisions reflect customer value, operational feasibility, and sustainable profitability.
7. Regional Collaboration & Governance
• Build strong working relationships with country teams, APAC functions, global product teams, and headquarters.
• Facilitate regional portfolio reviews, decision forums, and cross-country prioritization with transparent criteria and clear accountability.
• Collaborate with Code & Regulation experts to ensure compliance and proactive readiness for upcoming requirements.
• Communicate product strategy, business cases, decisions, risks, and results clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
A. Must-haves
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in product roadmap planning, lifecycle management, launches, phase-outs, business cases, and product profitability.
• Strong market analysis and strategic planning capability, including segmentation, competitor analysis, positioning, forecasting, demand management, and growth planning.
• Commercial and financial acumen covering price, cost, margin, ROI, investment trade-offs, and business decision support.
• Ability to lead through influence across country teams and functions including sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, quality, operations, and global product teams.
• Working knowledge of elevator products, safety codes, control systems, key components, digital or IoT solutions, and the implications of local regulatory variation.
