We are seeking an experienced Product Implementation Manager to support hands-on execution, coordination, governance, implementation, and product development activities focused on accelerating business cards growth. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across business, product, sales, operations, and risk functions to convert priorities into actionable product and delivery workplans, drive day-to-day progress, manage dependencies, and ensure execution remains on track.
The role requires a highly organized, delivery-oriented individual who can lead day-to-day implementation activities, coordinate multiple stakeholders, facilitate decision-making forums, resolve execution blockers, and ensure initiatives progress against agreed timelines and objectives. The resource will provide execution support and delivery discipline under the client’s direction, with business ownership and final decision-making authority remaining with the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business priorities into sequenced execution plans with clear milestones, owners, and timelines.
- Align stakeholders on objectives, timelines, outcomes, and ownership.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, workplans, delivery plans, and execution trackers.
- Support product development activities including requirements gathering, feature definition, proposition refinement, and prioritization of business card capabilities.
- Coordinate product inputs across business, technology, operations, compliance, and client-facing teams to ensure product requirements are execution-ready.
- Assist with product launch readiness by tracking go-to-market dependencies, operational readiness, implementation risks, and post-launch follow-up actions.
- Manage action trackers, risk registers, dependency logs, decision records, and governance documentation to support delivery control.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and provide hands-on support to drive initiative execution.
- Facilitate working sessions, follow-ups, issue resolution, and execution checkpoints to maintain delivery momentum.
- Drive assigned initiatives or workstreams through execution, monitoring milestone progress and escalating blockers where required.
- Establish governance forums, prepare steering committee materials, and provide status reporting.
- Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and next-step actions, supporting ongoing reprioritization to keep execution aligned with business objectives.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of credit and/or debit cards product management, product implementation management, or project delivery experience.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong governance, planning, reporting, risk management, and dependency management capabilities.
- Experience facilitating senior stakeholder discussions and governance forums.
- Proven ability to independently manage execution trackers, status reporting, action follow-through, and implementation oversight.
- Experience supporting product development lifecycle activities, including requirements definition, solution alignment, launch readiness, and post-implementation tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage business and operational stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Banking or payments industry experience
- Experience supporting banking (especially in commercial cards) and working onsite with client teams as an embedded programme resource
- Experience working with product teams to shape card propositions, define product requirements, and support market launch execution.
- Exposure to strategy, consulting, transformation, or business change projects
