Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Apparel Color Designer to join our team at a leading sportswear company. This role is integral in developing seasonal color design and direction for basketball apparel, covering signature, branded, and licensed products. The ideal candidate will be a versatile creative problem solver with a passion for sports and an ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience in a similar role
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good foundation and knowledge of textiles
• Proficiency in Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience with both footwear and apparel
• Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling stories

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the Basketball Apparel team in creating unique collections across Men’s and Women’s products on a seasonal basis
• Develop comprehensive storytelling and original content creation across seasonal apparel assortments
• Collaborate with Product Management teams to build engaging, trend-driven narratives
• Partner with Development teams to communicate design intent and assist with schematic creation and prototype workshops
• Manage and design presentation materials and present concepts to teams and leadership
