We are seeking a Product Analyst / Product Manager to lead the modernization and delivery of enterprise data services, APIs, and data collection capabilities. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and internal consumers to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver scalable solutions that improve data accessibility, integration, and usability.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of product management, business analysis, and technical understanding, with experience translating complex business needs into actionable requirements and driving initiatives from concept through delivery.

This position will focus on modernizing legacy systems, expanding API-based data access, and supporting enterprise data and AI initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and data teams to evaluate existing capabilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver innovative, business-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management & Strategy

• Define and manage product requirements, priorities, and roadmaps for enterprise data services and APIs.

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand needs, identify opportunities, and translate requirements into actionable deliverables.

• Prioritize product enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and organizational objectives.

• Manage competing priorities and guide initiatives through the full product development lifecycle.

Data Services & API Modernization

• Support the design, development, and enhancement of API-based data access and integration capabilities.

• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to modernize legacy applications and data services.

• Conduct brownfield analysis and reverse engineering of existing systems to understand business logic, dependencies, and integration points.

• Identify opportunities to simplify existing processes, improve data accessibility, and enhance system interoperability.

• Support enterprise data initiatives, including AI-driven applications and data consumption.

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements.

• Translate stakeholder needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and product documentation.

• Analyze existing workflows, data processes, and system functionality to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements and solutions.

AI-Enabled Productivity & Innovation

• Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Kiro, or similar technologies to accelerate requirements gathering, documentation, and impact analysis.

• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-driven capabilities into data products and business processes.

• Apply emerging technologies to improve product development efficiency and decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Product Management, Product Analysis, Business Analysis, or a related technology-focused role.

• Strong experience gathering requirements, defining user stories, managing product backlogs, and prioritizing initiatives.

• Experience working with APIs, enterprise data services, data integration, or data-driven applications.

• Understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and modern application architectures.

• Ability to analyze complex legacy systems, business processes, and technical dependencies.

• Experience collaborating with software engineers, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and independently drive initiatives forward.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with legacy system modernization, brownfield development, or reverse engineering.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, data collection platforms, and enterprise data architecture.

• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or enterprise data initiatives.

• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Kiro, or similar AI-assisted development and productivity tools.

• Experience working in complex, highly regulated, financial services, or enterprise technology environments.

• Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, or data mapping.
