About the Role:
We are looking for aProcess Analyst – Procurement Buyer to join our Procurement team in Bangalore. The role will be responsible for supporting procurement operations, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, managing requisitions and catalogs, supporting tactical sourcing activities, managing vendor performance, and providing operational support to business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience inProcurement/P2P operations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Policy & Requisition Management
- Monitor, drive, and enforcePO policy compliance across procurement activities.
- Review and approvenon-catalog requisitions in accordance with established policies and processes.
- Ensure requisitions and purchase orders are processed accurately and within defined timelines.
- Provide guidance to business stakeholders on procurement policies and processes.
Catalog Management
- Maintain and ensure procurement catalogs areaccurate and up to date.
- Performquarterly catalog audits and market basket reviews.
- Identify and resolve catalog-related issues to ensure an efficient purchasing experience.
Tactical Sourcing
- Supportspot-buy activities and low-spendRFQ/RFP processes.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and support the selection of appropriate vendors.
- Ensure sourcing activities are aligned with procurement policies and business requirements.
Vendor Relationship Management
- Supportvendor performance monitoring and maintain vendor scorecards.
- Participate inQuarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendors.
- Track vendor performance and support resolution of service, delivery, or quality-related issues.
Business & Procurement Support
- ProvideLevel 1 support to business stakeholders for queries related to: Purchase requisitions, Purchase orders, Receipts, Delivery addresses, Procurement system issues, Invoice holds
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve procurement-related issues within defined timelines.
Spend Analytics & Reporting
- Supportspend analytics and identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
- Prepare and publishmonthly KPI reports related to procurement performance.
- Analyse procurement data and provide insights to support decision-making and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree inCommerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Strategic/Tactical Sourcing, Vendor Management, or Procurement Operations.
- Good understanding ofProcurement and P2P processes.
- Experience working withPurchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, catalogs, RFQs/RFPs, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge ofMS Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively withbusiness stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within defined SLAs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience withERP/Procurement systems.
- Exposure tospend analytics and procurement reporting.
- Experience withvendor scorecards and performance management.
- Knowledge ofProcurement compliance and purchasing policies.
- Exposure toRFQ/RFP and tactical sourcing activities.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
