Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.80/hour
Shift: 1st Shift – 4:30 AM–3:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Production Utility Operator to support daily manufacturing and plant operations in Junction City, KS.

This is a hands-on industrial position involving general plant cleanup, material handling, product organization, and production support activities.

The operator will assist with stacking, sorting, wrapping, and organizing finished products, raw materials, and supplies, along with general facility maintenance activities such as painting, marking, and grounds upkeep.

The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical work in a manufacturing environment, follows instructions carefully, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general plant cleanup and utility work.

• Stack, sort, and organize finished products.

• Wrap and prepare finished products as directed.

• Handle and organize raw materials and production supplies.

• Assist with maintaining organized production and storage areas.

• Perform painting and marking activities as assigned.

• Support general grounds maintenance and facility upkeep.

• Move and arrange materials within designated work areas.

• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly production environments.

• Follow established safety procedures and work instructions.

• Assist production personnel with general utility and material-handling tasks.

• Perform other related plant support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills.

• Basic arithmetic skills.

• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and computers as needed.

• Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.

• Ability to perform hands-on production and utility tasks.

• Attention to detail when sorting, stacking, wrapping, and organizing materials.

• Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Dependability and willingness to perform a variety of assigned tasks.

• Ability to work the required early-morning shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.

• Experience in general labor, plant operations, or industrial environments.

• Experience with material handling, stacking, sorting, or packaging.

• Previous warehouse or production support experience.

• Familiarity with industrial housekeeping and workplace safety practices.

Work Environment

• Onsite manufacturing/industrial facility.
