About the Role

We’re looking for an experiencedLoan Processor / Client Support Specialist to join a well-established Australian mortgage broking business.

You’ll be supporting an experienced mortgage broker with more than25 years in the finance industry, helping keep loan applications moving smoothly from the initial application right through to settlement.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be an important part of the client experience. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day loan administration, keep documents and tasks organized, follow up on outstanding requirements, and make sure clients are kept informed along the way.

The broker will continue to handle lending advice, servicing calculations, recommendations, and key compliance responsibilities. Your focus will be onkeeping the process organized, staying ahead of requirements, and making sure nothing gets missed or unnecessarily delayed.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and completing loan application information in GEM
• Submitting applications through Apply Online
• Managing loan files from submission through to settlement
• Following up with clients for outstanding documents and information
• Providing friendly and proactive updates to clients throughout the loan process
• Liaising with lenders to help keep applications progressing
• Reviewing files to identify missing information or potential delays
• Keeping accurate notes, tasks and status updates in JAM / Sales Trek
• Keeping the broker updated on application progress
• Escalating complex lending scenarios or compliance matters when required

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally haveat least 2 years’ experience supporting an Australian mortgage broker and be comfortable managing multiple active loan files at different stages of the process.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident communicating with Australian clients and lenders. You’ll need a good understanding of Australian home loan processes, lender requirements and loan documentation, along with hands-on experience using Apply Online and mortgage processing or CRM systems.

Experience withGEM, JAM / Sales Trek, or another Australian aggregator environment would be highly regarded.
