The Position

Job Summary

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety

- Giving priority to all aspects of health, safety & environmental issues, working closely with and supporting works representatives, ensuring that operators, temporary employees & contractors comply with all site rules. Attending quality, EHS and production meetings, reporting on any relevant issues and responding on any action items in a timely manner.

- Contribute to creation and implementation of best practices maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedure to aid and improve operation performance.

- Improve, on a sustainable way and safely manner, the availability of all machines and productions.

Production System

- Create an Action Plan, Production Annual Plan, Ranong Mine Operation Department Together with the department manager

- Coordinate production in order to produce kaolin, consistent with the annual production plan

- Evaluate and analyze various operational data of the production section

- Coordinate with other departments in the operation

- Personnel management as well as machinery, equipment used in the production process For maximum efficiency

- Proceed to correct products that do not meet the customer's requirements

- Control and develop various inspection systems in the production process in order to produce quality products that are accepted by the customers

- Support and supervise the subordinates to comply with the rules, regulations and policies of the company

- Summary of operating results and problems in the area of responsibility as well as making suggestions for improvement and presenting them in Monthly Meeting

- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

- Implement the four pillars of maintenance

- Develop a Planed Preventive Maintenance schedules, ensure full preventive maintenance is carry out, and lead the team to deliver effectively.

- Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)

- Detailed planning for all job and all workers

- Innovative thinking with consideration given to all opportunities to improve availability of the machines

- Ensure that up to date and accurate documentation , records and operator manuals are kept

- Define all the specifications and volume of required spare parts and consumables for reliable operations

- Reports all the required figures on database and improve the performance based on data analysis

- Implement the step change of mindset and current policy through strong leadership management

- Manage energy usage for production

- Responsible for all systems relevant to production, including but not limited to I-Cube, Energy, Water Management, Mass Balance and Yeild Improvement.

Management

- Manage the operation within Company Terms & Conditions

- Building and leading successful work-teams, coaching and organizing all operatives in high standards of quality, accountability and production

- Organize and plan, holiday arrangements, training and sickness cover ensuring that the plant is always maintained by trained personnel

- Define the training needs based on skill matrix of his/her direct report

- Communicating fully and openly with all personnel, to ensure that effective working relationships are developed and maintained

- Communicate clearly to line management.

- Implement strong relationship with a pool of external experts: suppliers, universities and other Imerys Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.Eng. in Mining, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or other engineering is preferred
- Good command of both English and Thai.

- 10+ years production or process control experience, in Mining or Mineral Processing is preferred

- 5+ years supervisory experience required

- Intermediate to Advanced Google Workspace is preferred
- Must have working knowledge of production or process control. Experience in mining, kaolin processing, and quality control techniques is a strong advantage.

- Strong relationship builder and the ability to lead and motivate, teams and individuals.
- Able to work at Ranong, Thailand
