Process Improvement Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Improvement Consultant to lead and support initiatives focused on optimizing business processes, improving operational efficiency, and enabling automation.

This role will drive end-to-end process improvement efforts, leveraging methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, while identifying opportunities for automation using RPA, AI, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate is both analytical and execution-focused, with the ability to translate insights into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Process Improvement & Delivery

• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies

• Analyze current-state processes and design future-state solutions

• Drive measurable improvements using defined KPIs and service metrics

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable, data-driven solutions

Automation & Innovation

• Identify opportunities for process automation using tools such as RPA, chatbots, and AI solutions

• Collaborate with technical teams to support implementation of automation initiatives

• Contribute to innovation efforts leveraging AI and Generative AI where applicable

Process Design & Documentation

• Support development of intake processes for evaluating new improvement opportunities

• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future-state processes

• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting frameworks

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support change management activities including stakeholder analysis and communication planning

• Coach and mentor stakeholders on process improvement principles (e.g., VOC, CTQ, cost of poor quality)

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and sustain improvements

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in process improvement / business process optimization

• Strong experience leading end-to-end improvement initiatives

• Ability to define and track KPIs and performance metrics

• Experience developing process documentation and SOPs

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies (certification is a plus)

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools

• Familiarity with AI / Generative AI applications in process optimization

• Experience with Business Process Improvement frameworks

• Knowledge of ITIL Service Strategy processes
