Introduction

The position focuses on assessing and improving workstations, analyzing injury and medical trends, supporting new-model launches and process changes, and ensuring compliance with ergonomics standards. The role promotes employee well-being while supporting safety, quality, and operational performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in ergonomics, engineering, industrial engineering, human factors, kinesiology, occupational health, safety, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in ergonomics, manufacturing or industrial engineering, safety, or a related technical area.
- Experience conducting ergonomic assessments and implementing workplace improvements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Office and data analysis tools.
- Prior work experience in the automotive industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) credential.
- Automotive manufacturing or launch experience.
- Familiarity with ergonomic simulation tools.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist in the plant ergonomics program by identifying and reducing ergonomic risks.
- Assess and improve workstations and analyze injury and medical trends.
- Support new-model launches and process changes.
- Ensure compliance with ergonomics standards.
- Promote employee well-being while supporting safety, quality, and operational performance.
