DPP is seeking aPrint Operator for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
 
Work Location: Onsite in Columbia, SC
Duration: 11 months
Terms: W2 contract
Work Hours: 12-hour shifts, rotating days (full details below)
 
Position Summary:
  • ThePrint Operator I will be responsible for printing batch documents on high-speed print equipment.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize workloads and check print output for accuracy.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for periods of time.
  • Able to work in a team environment, task oriented, attention to detail.
  • Doesn’t need to be highly technical but must have the ability to learn. 
Required Technologies:
  • Windows Desktop
  • High-speed printer operation
  • MS Outlook 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ricoh VC40000 Printers
  • Ricoh 9210s Cut Sheet Printers
  • Insertion equipment experience 
Preferred Work Experience:
  • 1 year of high-volume printing environment.
Required Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Hours:
  • The position is 12-hour shifts (5:45 AM to 6:15 PM), rotating days. They would work Monday through Wednesday for 4 weeks, then after the 4th Wednesday they would be off for 7 days then come back to work on Thursday and work Thursday through Sunday. They would work Thursday through Sunday for 4 weeks then on the fourth Sunday they would continue to work Monday through Wednesday (7 days straight). They would then repeat the cycle. Role will also have overtime, weekend, and off hours. 
Work Environment:
  • Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
  • Fast-paced production environment.
  • Exposure to noise/dust/heat.
  • Exposure possible to other disagreeable elements.
