.NET / C# + .NET Core + Angular + Microsoft Azure
Our client is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with 12–15 years of professional software engineering experience to lead technical initiatives, drive innovation, and contribute to strategic software development efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in .NET, .NET Core, Angular, and Microsoft Azure, along with proven experience in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead the creation, design, and innovation of scalable software solutions and technical strategies using .NET, .NET Core, Angular, and Azure.
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade software systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering team members on coding standards, architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Lead architecture and system design decisions for complex applications and distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain robust applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core, and Angular.
- Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
- Drive code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, performance, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and modern engineering practices to improve system performance, reliability, and capabilities.
- Participate in and lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, design sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Drive technical initiatives from concept and architecture through implementation, deployment, and delivery.
- Identify technical risks and provide recommendations to improve application architecture, security, performance, and maintainability.
- 12–15 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
- Strong experience with .NET Core / modern .NET development – Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular – Mandatory.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience – Mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and building large-scale, enterprise-grade software systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and scalable application architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based applications and solutions on Azure.
- Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, or serving as a technical lead/architect.
- Ability to drive technical initiatives and make architecture decisions from concept through delivery.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with performance optimization, scalability, security, and application reliability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
