Principal Lead Engineer -Cloud, Data & AI (Lead II - Product Architect)

We are seeking a highly experienced hands on Senior Technical Lead engineerto serve as the primary technical anchor for a large-scale Wealth Management Replatforming initiative. This individual will act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders, enterprise architecture teams, and distributed engineering pods, driving the design and delivery of an AI-first platform ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise across data, integration, cloud, and AI with strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to influence enterprise-wide technology decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead architecture, solution design, and technical governance across the replatforming program.
• Define and drive the target-state architecture spanning data, integration, AI, and customer platforms.
• Establish engineering standards, delivery practices, and architectural guardrails.
• Ensure alignment between business outcomes, technology strategy, and delivery execution.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for business and technology stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and solution discussions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Build trusted relationships across product, architecture, operations, and engineering teams.

Platform & Solution Oversight

• Provide oversight across strategic platforms including:
• Temenos
• Backbase
• Salesforce
• Snowflake
• AWS Cloud Services
• Drive integration patterns and enterprise API strategies.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient solution design.

AI-First Engineering

• Champion AI-first software delivery practices.
• Drive adoption of GenAI, Agentic AI, and automation capabilities across the SDLC.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI for productivity, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer experiences.

Delivery Leadership

• Lead distributed and cross-functional delivery pods.
• Mentor engineers and architects across nearshore and offshore teams.
• Support estimation, roadmap planning, and delivery governance.
• Ensure successful execution against program milestones and objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering, architecture, or technology consulting experience.
• Strong background in enterprise solution architecture and large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Deep expertise in:Data Engineering,Integration Architecture,Cloud Native Solutions,Enterprise Platforms

Technology Experience

• Snowflake architecture and data ecosystems.
• Python-based integrations and automation frameworks.
• API-led and event-driven architecture.
• AWS cloud services and modern cloud-native patterns.
• Salesforce ecosystem and enterprise integrations.
• AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agent-based architecture concepts.

Business & Leadership Skills

• Strong client-facing and consulting capabilities.
• Experience engaging C-level stakeholders and senior technology leaders.
• Ability to influence architecture and delivery decisions across complex organizations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.

Domain Experience

• Preferred experience in- not a mandate:-Wealth Management,Asset Management,Banking and Financial Services,Digital Transformation and Replatforming programs
