We are seeking aPrincipal Engineer - AI, HPC & Storage Deploymentto serve as ahands‑on technical leader for the deployment, validation, and stabilization of advanceddata center solutions. This role is deeply engaged in customer site systembring‑up, working directly with Dell internal teams, partners, and customers to ensure complex solutions are deployed successfully and achievecustomer productivity within committed timelines.

You will: 

• Triage, debug and deploy Server/Storage/HPC System architectures and solutions

• Perform debugging and issue resolution at factory integration at Dell and 3rd-party sites

• Support of Dell Services escalation resolution when needed

• Support for lab builds and customer evals 

• Travel when required

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in hardware design, system architecture, or systems engineering

• Strong background in deploying and debugging complex compute and networking architectures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams

• Familiarity with factory integration, system validation, andlarge‑scale solution rollouts

• Proven experience in the design and deployment ofsolution‑level AI and enterprise Server/Storage/HPC data center systems 

Desirable Requirements 

• Hands‑on experience within‑rack and datacenter‑scale systems, including installation, configuration, and validation 

• Previouscustomer‑facing technical roles (deployment, escalation, field engineering, or solution architecture) 

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $157,000 to $203,000.
