Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Data Scientist:
- Must have one of the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience
- Master's degree with 6 years of experience
- Understanding of IC data requirements and challenges.
- Ability to align data initiatives with the DoD's strategic goals and IC mission objectives.
- Knowledge of data lifecycle management, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Understanding of data architecture frameworks and the ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient data systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based data storage and processing.
- Proficiency with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present data insights effectively.
