Ideal Background
- PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Software Engineering, or related field
- 20+ years of experience supporting cryptography, cybersecurity, modernization, or strategic technology initiatives
- Executive-level communication skills with experience advising senior government decision makers
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert supporting Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) strategy and migration planning efforts
- Advise government stakeholders on cryptographic modernization approaches, implementation strategies, and solution tradeoffs
- Lead workshops, working groups, and stakeholder meetings with senior leadership
- Develop strategic roadmaps, policy recommendations, and long-term modernization plans
- Support requirements development, standardization activities, and enterprise-level decision making across cryptographic modernization initiatives
- Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to both government customers and program leadership
