The Principal Business Process Analyst leads the most complex, high-impact business process transformation initiatives. This role partners with senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities, improve organizational effectiveness, and drive sustainable operational excellence across stores, support functions, and enterprise operations. This role translates business strategy into actionable improvement initiatives, influences decision-making at all levels of the organization, and establishes standards that enable long-term growth, efficiency, and customer value.

Essential Functions
Â
Lead the organization's highest-priority, cross-functional process improvement and transformation initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation and benefits realization.
Â
Partner with senior leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives that improve growth, operational efficiency, customer and employee experience, quality, and financial performance.
Â
Develop long-term process transformation strategies aligned with organizational objectives and future business needs.
Â
Design future-state business processes, operating models, workflows, governance structures, controls, roles, and performance measures that are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with business strategy.
Â
Evaluate organizational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, scalability, risk management, and customer outcomes.
Â
Lead complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Â
Conduct financial, operational, risk, and business impact analyses to support strategic recommendations and investment decisions.
Â
Utilize operational and financial metrics, predictive analysis, benchmarking, and statistical methodologies to support decision-making.
Â
Lead end-to-end diagnostic and process engineering efforts utilizing value stream mapping, process mapping, capacity modeling, time studies, workflow analysis, simulation techniques, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis.
Â
Apply advanced Lean Six Sigma, process reengineering, and continuous improvement methodologies to address the organization's most complex business challenges.
Â
Translate complex business and analytical findings into concise, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
Â
Establish implementation strategies, project governance, success measures, and executive reporting structures for large-scale transformation efforts.
Â
Oversee implementation activities and post-implementation reviews to ensure sustainable results and benefit realization.
Â
Develop and facilitate training programs that strengthen organizational process improvement capabilities.

Job Specifications
Â
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Â
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Â
8+ years of process improvement or process reengineering experience
Â
Six Sigma Black or Master Black Belt certification required.
Â
Experience in data gathering, research and analytics, problem identification, and presenting solution recommendations.
Â
Experience with financial and risk analysis, making recommendations and preparing business cases including cost benefit analysis.
Â
In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and methodologiesof in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
Â
Experience with business process analytics using Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams and workflow models.
Â
Advanced ability to use process improvement methodologies including Six Sigma, Lean, and other tools and techniques, including statistics and data analysis as well as change leadership methodologies.
Â
Ability to document, propose, negotiate and present approaches and solutions.
Â
Strong analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of the business to effectively translate business needs to process, IT or other solutions.
Â
Ability to visualize and create plans for future business outcomes and changes.
Â
Demonstrated experience using tracking, reporting and process mapping tools.
Â
Strong conflict management skills, effective influence, change management, and coaching skills.
Â
Proven ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization.
