About Us
Fenix24 is a global leader in breach recovery and pre-breach operational recoverability, redefining cyber resilience with the world's first Recovery Dependency Modeling and Recoverability Intelligence Platform, Argos99. Fenix24's breach recovery team is the largest in the world and has led more than 500 ransomware recoveries in 96 countries, including 30 of the Fortune 500. Pre-breach operational recoverability is founded on that real-world experience and is powered by Argos99 and our Resiliency Operations Center.
Our recoverability platform is purpose-built by frontline recovery experts and is deployed across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments; delivering measurable improvements in recovery readiness and faster, more confident restoration when ransomware strikes.
About This Position
We are searching for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect – Argos99 to join our Fenix24 team. In this role, you will be responsible for serving as the strategic, client-facing voice behind Argos99, our SaaS-based resilience platform, leading technical discovery, shaping deployment strategy, and translating platform findings into Fenix24’s next services conversation across Managed Backup, Managed Identity, and other managed security services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the client conversation as the strategic advisor on Argos99’s solution, benefits, and value proposition at both a technical and executive level.
- Lead in-depth technical discovery to understand a client’s infrastructure footprint, network topology, physical site count, and cloud presence (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Translate discovery findings into a proposed Argos99 deployment strategy, partnering with the Implementation team to validate scope and feasibility.
- Interpret the observations and data Argos99 surfaces about a client’s environment and convert those findings into actionable sales motions across Fenix24’s services portfolio, including Managed Backup, Managed Identity, and other managed security services.
- Partner with Account Executives from first discovery call through close, running demos, leading proof-of-concept (POC) design, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Act as a trusted technical and business advisor to prospective clients, helping them evaluate ROI, fit, and implementation feasibility.
- Address technical, security, integration, and architecture questions that come up during evaluation, looping in the right internal teams when needed.
- Relay client and market feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the Argos roadmap, and contribute to sales playbooks, battlecards, and enablement materials.
- Help identify where Argos99’s combined software-and-services model creates the strongest value for a given account or territory.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or pre-sales solutions architecture, ideally in SaaS/B2B software, with a track record as a trusted technical voice in front of executive and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discovery independently — running structured conversations to establish infrastructure scope (sites, network, cloud) without a delivery team in the room.
- Experience interpreting technical or assessment data and translating it into a clear business narrative with concrete next-step recommendations.
- Experience proposing scope or sizing that another team (implementation or delivery) ultimately reviews and signs off on.
- Strong executive presence, with a proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value for both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience running discovery, demos, and POCs in a sales context, with strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfort working closely with quota-carrying sales reps in a team-selling motion.
- Nice to have: background at a backup/DR or data resilience SaaS company (Cohesity, Rubrik, Veeam, Commvault, Druva, Zerto, Datto), a cyber asset discovery or attack surface management company (Axonius, Armis, JupiterOne, Tenable, Qualys), or an MSP/MSSP/incident-response consultancy (Mandiant/CrowdStrike Services, Arctic Wolf, Rapid7).
- Nice to have: experience with hybrid commercial models (subscription software paired with implementation or managed services), cloud platforms/APIs/data pipelines, enterprise security/procurement questionnaires (SOC 2, RFPs), launching a new product line, or recovery/resiliency domain exposure.
- Excellent analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong relationship building skills and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling the Fenix24 Culture and Values.
