Pre-Construction Manager

What You'll Do:

• Lead projects through the entire pre-construction process from contract award to construction handoff.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, and pre-construction milestones.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, client relations, and operations teams.
• Review project scope, budgets, pricing, and contracts to ensure successful execution.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies before construction begins.
• Lead design-assist efforts with owners, architects, consultants, and general contractors.
• Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, procurement activities, and engineering deliverables.
• Validate constructability, sequencing, dimensions, and installation methods.
• Support value engineering efforts to maximize project profitability while maintaining quality.
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and project partners.
• Help improve internal pre-construction processes and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience leading commercial construction projects during the pre-construction phase.
• Background in design-build, architectural systems, glazing, or architectural metals.
• Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and project planning.
• Experience coordinating engineering, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to present to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
