BROADMIND is an innovative company revolutionizing the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). After the successful launch of our Kickstarter campaign, we are seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to help amplify our visibility by securing coverage in reputable media outlets.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven PR professional with a proven track record of success in securing media placements. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and startups, with experience crafting compelling narratives that resonate with tech-savvy audiences. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a forward-thinking team and play a pivotal role in shaping our public presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute PR strategies to increase media visibility and credibility.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers in the tech and startup sectors.
Craft press releases, pitches, and media kits tailored to target publications.
Identify and secure opportunities for media coverage, including interviews, features, and opinion pieces.
Monitor and report on media coverage and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:
Proven track record of securing placements in reputable outlets (please provide examples or case studies).
Strong understanding of the tech industry and familiarity with startup dynamics (a plus).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to create compelling narratives that align with brand goals.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.
Compensation:
We value a win-win collaboration and are open to discussing performance-based compensation models rather than paying large amounts upfront without guarantees. While we understand that media coverage cannot be guaranteed, we seek a partner committed to delivering impactful results.
