(803) Senior Python Developer - L3 Support (SRE/Python + Unity-integration)

Altoros - a leading IT services provider is looking for aSenior Python Backend Developer — L3 Support (SRE/Python + Unity-integration). Part-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Support a Django application, CMS, backend services, PostgreSQL database, and GCP infrastructure.
• Review logs to diagnose issues and resolve post-launch bugs.
• Monitor application performance, response times, and error rates.
• Tune PostgreSQL queries, manage indexes, and run DB maintenance.
• Manage backups and apply schema changes.
• Update the Django app in response to integrated technologies (e.g., Unity, Kaltura).
  
  

• • 4+ years of commercial Python, production-grade backend systems.
  • Deep Django + DRF (REST API design, auth, serialisation, pagination, custom middleware).
  • Strong PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimisation, indexing, transactions, ORM + raw SQL).
  • GCP: Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, logging/monitoring, basic CI/CD.
  • Incident response / RCA experience; comfortable working independently.
  • Proven support/SLA experience.
  • B2 + level of English or higher
    

Nice to have requirements:

• Unity / Kaltura integration experience.
• Medtech background / HIPAA awareness.
• DevOps practices & tooling.
• Django admin panel development.
• HTML/CSS/TS/JS.
  
  
  Engagement:
• Part-time: ≤20 hours/month (expected ≤5 tickets/month).
• Duration: 6–12 months, starting August.
• Working window: Mon–Fri, 15:00–00:00 Warsaw time.
• Location: Poland or westward.
