Role Overview
Power BI Developer responsible for building scalable dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions to enable business insights and decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
· Perform data extraction, transformation, and modeling using Power Query and DAX.
· Design efficient data models (star schema, relationships, fact/dimension).
· Implement security (RLS), data refresh, and workspace governance.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements.
· Optimize performance of reports and large datasets.
Must-Have Skills
· Strong hands-on Power BI
· Data modeling concepts (Star schema, relationships)
· Power Query (M language) for data transformation
· Strong SQL skills
Good to Have
· Azure (ADF / Synapse / Databricks)
· Python for data processing
· Power BI deployment pipelines / CI-CD
· SSAS / Azure Analysis Services
