Powder Prep Associate

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a first shift Powder Coat Prep Associate in the Gahanna, Ohio, area.  This is a full time, contract to direct hire position.

Required Skills

• Experience preparing parts for coating.
• Experience in a manufacturing/job shop environment.
• Ability to read prints/schematics accurately.
• Ability to follow and retain instructions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Taping/masking parts with heat-resistant tape; plugging/capping.
• Use of Exacto knife and fine tactical skills.
• Attention to detail and information retention.
• Loading/unloading conveyor line:
  • Physically able to meet demands: stretching, reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; average part weight is 1-20 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Familiarity with hand tools; ISO knowledge is helpful.
