About The Client:
Client is an Indian multinational technology company specializing in information technology services and consulting. Headquartered in Mumbai, it is a part of the Tata Group and operates in 150 locations across 46 countries.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5Â to 10Â yrs.
- Experience in SQL DBD , DBA such as PostgreSQL , MySQL , Query tuning, performance tuning
- Hands on knowledge in DB installation and maintenance
- Hands on experience in recovery of DB, Table partitioning, DB clustering , DB load balancing
- Hands on experience on Query tuning and DB setup and connectivity
- Experience on Volume managers for disk management
- Experience in Linux/Windows platforms
- Experience on DB patch management, Timely patching as per patching schedules
- Knowledge in Backup & restoration technology on PostgreSQL
- Knowledge in OS and DB clustering for High Availability
- Log reviews for audit compliance and hardening/VA Tests
- Working experience on Production environment and P1/P2 issues
- Basic knowledge on shell scripting
Must-Have
- Good communication skills
- Good presentation & document skills
- DB administration with DB administration, query tuning and performance improvements
- Security operations like Patching / VA / Hardening
- Backup & restoration management
- Certified on any DB server administration and development
