Portal Developer

Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid)

Duration: 9 months

Seeking for a skilled Portal Developer to lead the design, programming, and testing of the initial stages of our Portal. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful development and deployment of the application.

Responsibilities:

• Develop front-end design documents such as wireframes or UI mockups to meet Keystone Design System (KDS) requirements.
• Create back-end technical documents like data dictionaries and entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).
• Lead programming efforts for the Portal web application.
• Coordinate with teams to identify technical requirements and specifications.
• Work with the project manager and staff to address status, risks, and obstacles impacting the development roadmap.
• Lead testing efforts for the Portal application, develop test cases, and address system bugs and deficiencies.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in C# and .NET (preferably .NET 8–10), including asynchronous programming and modern design patterns.
• Experience with Blazor and Razor components.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture, including routing, component lifecycle, and state management.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs in ASP.NET Core.
• Solid experience with SQL Server 2022, including database schema design and performance optimization.
• Strong T-SQL skills for complex queries.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and best practices for data access layers.
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience designing scalable applications.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security frameworks.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles and clean architecture concepts.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to create meaningful unit tests and integration tests.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Power BI datasets, models, and reports.
• Experience with front-end styling or UI frameworks such as CSS, Bootstrap, or Tailwind.
