Polysomnographer
Location: Medford, OR
Work Model: Onsite
Shift: Full-Time / Night Shift
ThePolysomnographer performs routine and advancedsleep diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions for patients undergoing sleep studies.
The role involves conductingpolysomnographic testing, analyzing diagnostic data, supporting treatment plans, and maintaining departmental documentation and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and complexpolysomnographic studies, including MSLT and MWT testing
Collect, analyze, and compile sleep study diagnostic data
Apply appropriatetherapeutic modalities based on patient condition
Score sleep studies and prepare diagnostic reports
Maintain electronic and paper patient records
Schedule patient sleep studies and coordinate testing logistics
Participate inquality improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot and maintainsleep lab equipment and EMU devices
Assist with database management and departmental documentation

Required Qualifications

Education that meets certification/licensure requirements
Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist License (upon hire)
OR
Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist / Respiratory Therapist License

AND one of the following:

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) – Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists

Additional Requirement: BLS Certification – American Heart Association
Preferred Experience

Experience performingsleep diagnostic procedures in clinical sleep labs
Knowledge ofsleep disorder diagnostic protocols
Experience withsleep study scoring and interpretation
