About The Job:
- We are looking for an experienced PMO / Program Management professional with 8+ years of experience in project/program governance, stakeholder management, planning, reporting, and operational coordination.
- The ideal candidate should be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- The role requires someone who can take complete ownership of assigned activities, follow established processes, maintain timely communication with stakeholders, and ensure actions and deliverables are driven to closure.
- The individual will work closely with business, project, and leadership teams to provide effective PMO support across governance, reporting, resource planning, risk management, and overall program execution.
Essential Job Functions:
1. PMO & Program Governance
- Support end-to-end PMO activities across projects and programs.
- Establish and maintain effective project governance mechanisms.
- Track key deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and action items.
- Ensure adherence to established processes, governance standards, and project timelines.
- Drive governance meetings and ensure timely follow-up and closure of agreed actions.
- Maintain relevant project documentation, trackers, and repositories.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with project leads, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain regular and timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively follow up on pending actions, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
- Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure deliverables remain on track.
- Prepare updates for senior stakeholders and leadership forums.
- Demonstrate strong ownership and responsiveness in day-to-day stakeholder interactions.
3. Project Tracking & Reporting
- Track overall project/program health, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Prepare periodic MIS, status reports, dashboards, and leadership presentations.
- Consolidate information from different workstreams and provide meaningful program-level updates.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Highlight deviations, bottlenecks, and areas requiring management attention.
4. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Maintain and regularly update risk, issue, action, and dependency trackers.
- Proactively identify potential delivery risks and escalate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Follow up with respective owners to ensure timely mitigation and closure.
- Support program leadership in monitoring critical dependencies and outstanding decisions.
5. Resource & Workforce Planning
- Support resource planning, allocation, and utilization tracking across projects/programs.
- Assist with demand and capacity planning.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on current and upcoming resource requirements.
- Maintain appropriate resource and workforce trackers.
- Provide visibility into resource gaps, availability, and utilization, wherever applicable.
6. Financial & Operational Governance
- Support project-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking as required.
- Track planned versus actual project/resource metrics.
- Assist leadership with operational reviews and management reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes, reporting, and governance efficiency.

- 8+ years of overall professional experience, with substantial experience in PMO, project management, program management, or a related governance role.
- Strong understanding of project and program governance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive activities to completion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within committed timelines.
- Strong follow-up and coordination capabilities.
- Experience in management reporting, dashboards, MIS, and executive presentations.
- Understanding of resource/workforce planning and utilization.
- Good knowledge of risk, issue, dependency, and action management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and process adherence.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Tools / Technical Exposure
Candidates with hands-on exposure to the following or similar tools would be preferred:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Power BI
- SharePoint
- Project/program tracking and reporting tools

Preferred Profile
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a PMO / Program Management / Project Governance environment.
- Prior experience working with large organizations or complex multi-stakeholder programs would be advantageous.
- Experience coordinating across business, technology, operations, and leadership teams.
- Strong experience preparing senior management reports, dashboards, governance decks, and program updates.
- Candidates who can independently pick up activities, understand priorities, proactively communicate progress, and drive tasks to closure would be strongly preferred.
