About The Client:
Client is an Indian multinational technology company specializing in information technology services and consulting. Headquartered in Mumbai, it is a part of the Tata Group and operates in 150 locations across 46 countries.
Qualifications:
- Expert in advanced PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, functions, triggers) for enterpriseāscale systems
- Strong mastery of Oracle SQL, including complex queries, analytical functions, and optimization techniques
- Proven experience in performance tuning using bulk processing (BULK COLLECT, FORALL), indexing, and execution plan analysis
- Architected and supported highāvolume transactional databases in productionācritical environments
- Deep understanding of transaction management, locking, and concurrency control
- Designed robust exception handling and logging frameworks for faultātolerant applications
- Extensive experience developing ETL and dataāprocessing logic using PL/SQL
- Strong exposure to database security, roles, privileges, auditing, and compliance standards
- Led code reviews, mentoring, and enforcement of coding standards for PL/SQL teams
- Handsāon experience with production support, releases, and environment migrations
