Your Role and Impact
The QA Supervisor is responsible for supervising the QA assistants to ensure that they are functioning effectively to meet department and company goals in providing excellent quality products to customers
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Participate in plant/process validations and qualifications; ISO9001 / 10CFR50 App B (Nuclear QA Program)Â
- Lead QA/QC staff to meet the expectations in compliance with the QA programs
- Lead advanced quality planning efforts including customer needs analysis and development of product quality plansÂ
- Assist Regional Quality Engineer and/or Global NPO QA Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Facility Specific quality systems and proceduresÂ
- Assist in the evaluation of suppliers and implementation and monitoring of the supplier improvement processÂ
- Monitor and perform auditing functions to assure compliance with systems and procedures
- Coordinate resolution of internal and external corrective actionsÂ
-  Identify areas for improvement (internal, external, supplier) and develop quality improvement programs utilizing quality tools and statistical techniquesÂ
- Develop quality inspection plans to ensure customer purchase orders and contract requirements are met.Â
- Audit other documents (Bill of Materials, Routers, Work Instructions, etc) to ensure contractual complianceÂ
Required QualificationsÂ
- Diploma in Rotating Elements Mechanical/Precision Engineering with minimum of 8 to 10 years working experience in quality or manufacturing environment and at least 4 years’ experience in supervisory levelÂ
- Good mathematics skill and good understanding in quality operations and GD&TÂ
- English Proficiency to communicate with overseas stakeholders
- Proficient in handling measuring instrument and tools inclusive of optical flatÂ
- Hands-on experience in setting up QMS or ISO equivalent is a mustÂ
- Good knowledge in conducting Internal Audits and Supplier Audits would be an added advantageÂ
- Strong in “DMAIC Lite” in Corrective and Preventive action, CAR systemÂ
- Strong in investigating and reporting any customer complaint and issues with quality and conformity.Â
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance TrainedÂ
- Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D & Root Cause & Corrective Actions trainedÂ
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor CertifiedÂ
- Documentation preparation – Certificate of Conformance, Certified Material Test Report, Positive MaterialÂ
- Identification Test, and 100% inspection reportÂ
- Willing to travel overseas or on-site when requiredÂ
