Job Summary

We are seeking a skilledPlaywright Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Microsoft Playwright. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript or Java, API testing, CI/CD, web technologies, and software testing methodologies. The role involves ensuring high-quality web applications through robust automation, continuous testing, and close collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Playwright automation frameworks.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Develop reusable test libraries and utilities.
• Perform cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
• Automate API testing using Playwright APIRequestContext or REST Assured/Postman.
• Integrate Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform database validation using SQL.
• Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain test data and test documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
• Generate automation reports and dashboards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
